The Importance of Marketing in Your Company

Whenever you start a new company you have to get customers as soon as you can so that you can start to make some cash.  Lost time is equal to lost revenue.  If you wait a month prior to you begin chasing company then that can be the vital month that you lose your business 36 to 48 months down the road.  You might be thinking why would I wait a month?  Numerous individuals when beginning a brand new company will put off marketing for a small business because they’ve spent way too much time getting their shop in ideal condition or messing around with whatever rather than going out and making money.  Always remember that marketing a business is essential for survival.

Marketing can be looked at in a few different ways.  Networking or door to door sales is seen as marketing to some companies.  Whilst marketing in some way is seen as marketing to others.  I personally think that advertising is anything that may get your name out and get customers noticing you.  In fact, not just noticing you but buying and using your products and services. 

If you are an excellent salesman and have some really good people skills then you should begin networking with anybody and everyone you realize and meet from this point forward.  You can take this 1 step further and start cold calling using the phone or by visiting potential clients door to door. 

If you’re within the type of business that has customers needing your services or coming for your place then you are able to try marketing or advertising in the newspaper.  You can also attempt postcard advertising, online marketing, the yellow pages and numerous much more methods.
